My favorite part of this house was the dish rack in the kitchen sink. 🙂 It can be used both for drying dishes and for rinsing before dishing. For the 25,000 USD they paid, I think the house was cheap. Sure, they did all the work themselves, but still. 25,000 is what they would pay for a year renting a small apartment in San Diego. Most of the materials they used came from second-hand markets or were given to them if they removed it themselves. All kitchen cabinets, the floor, outside panels, bathtub, etc.
