One step further: A small house within a house?
This person had quite a lot of spare space in their basement, and decided it would make an ideal space for a playhouse for their children!
Luckily for them the ceiling was higher up than normal, allowing for two floors, accessible by ladder. It ended up being so big that even the adults could fit inside it!
It definitely takes the term 'playing house' to another level, and I think it provides an excellent space for the children to play and grow up in. I would have loved something like this when I was younger, but maybe that was because I never had room for this sort of thing due to me being stuck with the small room 
Would you be interested in taking on a project such as this?
I am amazed that this was able to fit inside a home, it truly looks spectacular! They are lucky children indeed. It reminded of Paris Hilton's Doggy Mansion which housed her chihuahuas, the house was a smaller copy to her own massive pad.
She even installed a heater and air conditioning
