Small Space Living

Re-purposing heritage for small space living

I REALLY enjoyed watching this video of how they managed to renovate a corner block from the 1960's! I don't think I would particularly enjoy walking up multiple floors to the top with my weekly shopping, but it might just be worth it with the spectacular windows that light up the entire space!

I really like how a separate kitchen was also maintained, giving a separation from the cooking quarters to the eating quarters Glad

Nice. 🙂

One thing I haven't understood is the trend of having smaller than needed bathroom sinks. This one could be larger and washing your face would inevitably splash water on the countertop instead of in the dink.

Yeah I agree. As far as I can tell, there are no practical advantages of a shallow sink so it does make me wonder why they continue to do it, it's not as if you can see how deep the sink is from the outside most of the time anyway?
