DIY small plant stand upgrade

Image 1. Click to open in original size.

While out at an estate sale I found an old wire planter that I adored, the only problem was the white paint was looking dull after years of plants being watered on it.

The plant stand was a blank canvas

I went to my local hardware store and purchased a rust color spray paint and liberally applied two coats of the rust colored spray paint and I love the way it looks in my tiny entry way.

#1 Thank you! Yes I do too, I have been purchasing a lot of unique stands from thrift stores and just repainting them to match my color scheme!

What a great idea to make it look rust colored. The rusty look is in.

Happy creating!
