Small kitchen organization

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any tips for organizing a small kitchen. The problem is we have enough cupboard space. We have a large cabinet which we put food in, but it is messy since there is little shelving. I’ll post a pic later.

Did you mean that you do not have enough cupboard space?

No we have plenty, it is just that it is not organised since there is no shelving, and we rent so we cannot install any in. So I'm looking for some creative ways to organise

I think you can buy extra shelves to that cupboard. It looks like Ikea.

#1 yes I agree I think that shelves would look really nice, or you can even consider getting a hanging spice rack to organize your spices. I found that after I took the spices I used most often out of my cupboard it decluttered  a lot!

#6 I attempted to install a drawer for the spices, I don't know if you can see it. Its near the bottom. Although its still not a big enough draw for the amount of spices I have!  I have a problem with having so many different bags of stuff! like pasta, flour, rice, dried fruits! I don't know the cheapest way to organise that kind of stuff.

#7 May I suggest going to a thrift store and seeing if they have unique canisters that you like? I also purchased a set of three from Ikea, they are metal and I really like them. I also went thrifting and whenever I would find a canister I would buy it for a random dry good I had. Also maybe do some spring cleaning and see if you have some canned items you can donate to a local food bank if you haven't eaten it in a while :)

Thats good idea! normally the canned ones are more expensive at thrift stores here since people like to collect them. But I could look for large glass jars. I see those going for pretty cheap. ðŸ™‚

If you have those paper spice refills, you can put them in plastic boxes, like old ice cream trays.
